JetStream Live started with a simple frustration, and turned into an app.
A plane goes over your head and you wonder what it is. The apps that already exist can answer that, but they want you to type a flight number, or find the right dot on a crowded map. By the time you have done that, the plane is gone.
JetStream removes that step. Point your phone at the sky. That is the whole interaction. Everything else in the app, the map, the cards, the logbook, is built around that one moment.
JetStream Live is built and maintained by a single independent developer in India, not a company. Every feature in it exists because it was worth building, not because a roadmap demanded it.
That means it moves fast, it stays focused, and it is honest about what it is. It is not trying to be the largest flight tracker in the world. It is trying to be the one you open when you are standing outside with a plane overhead.
Aircraft positions are delivered through our servers and refreshed continuously. Coverage depends on what is being broadcast in a given area, so some regions are denser than others. JetStream is built for curiosity and spotting, not for catching a flight, so always check with your airline for anything that actually matters to your travel.
